How does the web design project board work?

As a buyer, first you will submit your website development inquiry request to our system. Once your request is submitted we will send you an email with your “user name” and “password” to communicate with our website development team. Once we have this initial inquiry one of our account managers will follow up with you for a brief consultation. Upon agreement, we will then email you a more in depth website development brief for you to complete and email back to us. This brief is designed for us to help you get exactly what you want out of your website development project. We will then review the brief and provide a firm price quote for total cost involved in completing the project. If you are in agreement with the cost for your project, we will then send out an agreement that must be executed which will state the project costs, our deliverables, and the timeline for completion. Once this agreement is signed and faxed back to us with the escrow payment for starting the project, we will then begin work on your project and work toward the completion date. You can communicate with our website development team within the private message board that was emailed to you with our website development enquiry request.

Does SFD Help with Getting my New Web Site Uploaded and Online?

Yes – You will need to provide your FTP credentials to your web hosting account and we will upload your site and have it working so you can test out on your final delivery date. We are also available for 6 months of free support after you site has been uploaded to your server.

How do I communicate with SFD throughout my project so I can pin point my project needs and get exactly what I want?

You communicate with our website development team through our private message board system for your particular project.

How it Works?

The website development process couldn’t be easier with ShopforDesigns.com. Please click on the link below and fill out the web questionnaire. Once you complete the questionnaire you will get an email from us with your user name and password to log into the site and upload any relevant project information that will help us complete your website project (this user name and password is different than your regular shopfordesigns user name and password and it just for website development projects.) Once we have your web quote request, one of our account managers will be in touch with you to discuss your project in more detail. Once the initial phone consultation has taken place we will send you a website brief through email for you to complete and send back to us. The website brief document is a little more details and will allow us to get creative input from you on how you want the website designed exactly. We will then review and provide a firm quote for your website project. If you accept the quote we will then email you an agreement which will state the price and projected timeline for completion on our project. You will need to sign the agreement and fax back to our office with an escrow payment so we can begin work on your website. You can communicate with our web development team throughout the course of your project by logging into your website development account and through the message board. Throughout the project you can communicate with our designers and upload any relevant information that will help complete the project to your exact needs. The process is designed to work smoothly and we are here to help!
